Heard prior to a public Torah shiur in Jerusalem this morning...
Jewish American #1: "How long are you here [in Israel] for?"
Jewish American #2: "Oh, I come and go."
Jewish American #1: "You are so lucky! I'm here for a year! And then I get to go back to New York."
If it hurt my feelings to hear this, how must Hashem have felt? Whatever it is they are "learning," it's not the Torah of Moshe Rabeinu.
